Linking Hertfordshire From October

From Early October, we will begin to run two brand new routes in the Hertfordshire area from a new base in Watford. The routes will be the 403 (Watford | Garston | St Albans) and the 404 (Watford | Garston | St Albans | Harpenden | Luton | Luton Airport). We are currently unsure what frequency the routes will be run. The new depot will also home the current 402 service which is having to travel from Luton to Watford each morning currently. However, we may decide on having one of the 402's vehicles based at Luton to cover earlier journeys on the 404.

Also, 10 brand new Optare Metrocity buses are on order. These will help to replace the oldest (07, 58 and 09 plate) Versas at our Luton depot, so that they can move to Watford, and the others will be directly for Watford.
